Psalm 63:1-8
Daniel 3:19-30
Revelation 2:8-11
All three readings for today point to comfort and safety and assurance in God's presence - David writes of God's steadfast love and protection - Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are protected in the midst of the fiery furnace because they stood firm in their faith. And in Revelation, the angel writes to Smyrna - "Do not fear what you are about to suffer" ... "Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life"
Be strong, be true, and even in the midst of adversity and testing and suffering, remember God's promises. He will protect you and see you through your times of trial. We know that when we get through the trials of this life, we cannot be harmed in the life to come!
